FAQ

  • We’ve been fortunate to meet with all of you in person at our regional happy hours or over Zoom, one frequent question we get is: “When can I meet more members?”. This is it!

  • The Fairmont Sonoma has capacity for 205 rooms.  We are providing these on a first-come, first-served basis, with 2024 retreat attendees having had the first opportunity to register in advance.

  • The 205 rooms will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  We have negotiated an early booking discount with the hotel that allows us to offer lower cost for anyone who registers through November 10.

  • We are setting the price per ticket at-cost. We negotiated significant discounts on the hotel room rates to keep the cost as reasonable as possible.

  • Yes, including resort fees!

  • Yes! All meals, snacks, and refreshments are included in the retreat package. Enjoy a variety of delicious options at our scheduled events and programs.

  • While the retreat package covers most amenities, please note that flight costs are not included.  We will offer complimentary shuttle transportation from SFO to the Fairmont on Sunday, September 28.

    Members are free to extend their stay in the area or at the hotel and organize personal activities such as golf, but these are not included in the registration fee. 

  • The nearest airports are:

    • Sonoma County Airport (STS): 27 miles.  STS offers non-stop flights to airports throughout California, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake, and Dallas.

    • San Francisco (SFO): 58 miles.

    • Oakland (OAK): 59 miles.

    We will offer complimentary shuttle transportation on Sunday from SFO to the Fairmont.  Time to be announced shortly.

  • Registration and activities will start in the afternoon of Sunday, September 28, with an opening dinner and reception that evening.  We will have a closing breakfast and remarks on the morning of Wednesday, October 1.

  • Yes!  The Fairmont has offered to honor a discounted room rate ($451/night, including taxes and fees) for two nights before and after the retreat. This offer is only valid through the end of October. If you know that you will want an extra room any of these nights, please let us know here. Please note: while your retreat ticket is refundable through June of next year, we will not be able to get refunds from the hotel for any extended nights that you book.

  • Those who live in the Bay Area and prefer to attend all activities and meals but not stay at the hotel are welcome to purchase a Companion Ticket.

  • Definitely! We wholeheartedly encourage you to bring your spouse or partner.  The retreat is designed to be a social and enriching experience for our members and their loved ones. The cost for a companion ticket is $2,950 (early pricing), assuming shared lodging.  We anticipate half of attendees will join with their spouse/partner and half will come alone. 

  • We are excited to organize family-friendly retreats in the future, but this event is designed to be adults-only. We are not able to offer programming or childcare for kids.

  • 100% Refundable through June 30, 2025

  • If you prefer to pay via company credit card, check, or wire transfer, that is not a problem! We cannot provide tax advice on the deductibility of the expense.
